What is a PDF File?
Portable Document Format was developed for handling documents in a manner which is both device-and platform-independent.

O.K. - in simpler terms, it is a file that looks the same on screen and in print, regardless of what kind of computer or printer someone is using and regardless of what software package was originally used to create it. These PDF files contain all of the fonts, formatting, colors and graphics of the source document in a compact file.

The PDF format works on all major systems, including Macintosh, Windows and UNIX.

Anyone, anywhere can open a PDF file. All you need is the free viewer program Adobe Acrobat¨ ReaderŞ which allows you to view, navigate, and print out Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

How to Print PDF Files
If you want to print an Adobe Acrobat PDF file from within your web browser, do not use the web browser print option. Instead, use the print button at the left end of the special Adobe Acrobat tool bar, which appears immediately above the viewing window.
